Ermita Hill
Ermita Hill is one of Baler’s well-known landmarks, rising above the coastal area of Barangay Zabali. From the hill, visitors can enjoy views of Baler Bay, the surrounding coastline, and parts of the town.
The site also carries historical significance. It is associated with the story of the great tsunami that struck Baler in 1735, when families sought refuge on higher ground.
Today, Ermita Hill is both a scenic destination and a place where visitors can learn more about Baler’s natural and historical heritage.
